Founder

Taher Khorakiwala

Taher Khorakiwala is a global macro investor, entrepreneur, and family office principal with more than two decades allocating capital across public markets, early-stage ventures, and real assets. His work pairs a macro view of liquidity, policy, and regime change with hands-on trading across equities, futures, options, commodities, and precious metals in developed and emerging markets. Based in California, he brings a cross-border perspective to portfolio construction, fund structuring, and risk — shaped by experience building and overseeing complex multi-jurisdictional vehicles, and by a family business legacy grounded in stewardship and long-term responsibility.

Advisor

Ritesh Jain

Ritesh Jain has more than twenty-five years in global investment management, asset allocation, and risk strategy across fixed income and multi-asset platforms, navigating market cycles in India and abroad. He has held senior leadership roles including Chief Investment Officer at BNP Paribas Mutual Fund, where he managed roughly US$1.2 billion, and Chief Investment Officer at Tata Mutual Fund, where he oversaw about US$6 billion in equity and fixed income strategies. He has advised high-net-worth portfolios as Economic Advisor to Old Bridge Capital Management, and today is founder of PineTree Macro and NRIZEN, and an Independent Director and Strategic Advisor to Eastern Financiers Ltd. He brings a practitioner's grounding in cross-border asset allocation and global liquidity cycles to PineTree MeemBay.
